About us

Hong Kong French Papers was first established as an attempt to create a bridge between Hongkongers and their French-speaking counterparts.

Our French founder holds solid French academic qualifications in phonetics, linguistics and didactics. Having done research work in psycholinguistics herself and having taught French as a first and foreign language in cultural, diplomatic and educational establishments in Asia for twenty years, she has always been enjoying translating linguistics and language-related research work. Having Hong Kong as her base for the last seventeen years, it seemed like a logical next step in her career to create a company that provides good quality French language-related services to clients in the city.

Keen to create a company that reflects her journey, our founder has chosen translation fields  that correspond to her areas of expertise. Having a  great passion for floristry in general and holding a florist's certificate, she chose to include this field in her specialties. Similarly, as her professional background has brought her into constant contact with school textbooks and children's books - in addition to the daily creation of teaching materials for children - she feels very comfortable designing, proofreading and translating this type of texts in French.

Hong Kong French Papers consequently specialises in translations related to languages, linguistics and applied linguistics, children's literature and floristry but would be delighted to help you in other areas too.

A life without didactics of the French language would no longer have the same flavour, as teaching French has been an integral part of our founder's life for twenty years. That's why Hong Kong French Papers also offers curriculum development services, as well as academic consultancy to educational establishments wishing to set up or improve their French departments.

Whether you're in Hong Kong or elsewhere in the world,  we are here to provide you with a service that combines Hong Kong efficiency with French perfectionism.
